Girls, Mole mapping appointment - underwear…?

Next week I have a mole mapping appointment at the dermatologist for the first time.
They have a machine (Fotofinder) that takes photos of your whole body (while you’re standing there in weird posess and analyzes all your moles with AI.

They said on the phone the photos and the examination afterwards will take place while wearing panties only.
Now I’m wondering if it would make sense wearing a thong so more skin can be checked on the photos and by the dermatologist.

Or would that be a bit inappropriate with the nurses and the doctor…?
Does anyone of you already had a mole mapping appointment like that?

I would wear whatever you normally wear. Trust me, they have seen everything. If you have moles on your butt, probably best to get them checked

Well Underwear is kind of a general term for all types of underwear. They didn’t specify it…
