Trying out underwear/ lingerie in changing rooms?

When you go shopping in a clothing store and you find some underwear (bra's/ panties) or lingerie that you like and decide to head to the changing rooms to try them on.

Once you're in the changing room in private - do you remove the clothing covering your genitals and/ or chest and try out your selected items to skin?

Most places (around me at least) won't allow you to try panties on unless you're try them on over top your own. I can see why though. Bras are not that big of deal. My underwear size doesn't really change so I don't have to try them on but I find different brands of bras fit me differently so I have to try them.

I've never seen this with panties, but when I've shopped for bikini's in some upscale stores they place a sticky paper on the inside of the crotch area with is totally disposable and replaced with a fresh on if you return them to the clerk.
