Have you ever gotten a hanker core from anyone?



"Hanker sore" is a neologism (a newly coined word) from John Koenig's Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows that describes finding a person so attractive that it is simultaneously frustrating and annoying to you. It combines the feeling of "hankering" (longing or craving) with a "canker sore" (a painful mouth ulcer) to capture the maddening, unfair nature of overwhelming attraction that feels like an irritating affliction.

I think it might also include sad pain as well but I don't know
