I wash everything after every use. This is why you never see dirty anything in our kitchen.

Don't own an electric. Never have. I hardly ever need to open a can. But I clean my hand crank can opener every time I use it. Takes seconds. Wash, dry, toss it back in the drawer. But I'm a neat freak.

I don’t even have one, I don’t use these cans. The small cans I have (e. g. tuna) have their own opener in the lid.
