Has anybody ever had shingles'. If so, how severe was it and how long did it last?

My brother and his wife died, and I helped my bother when he was dying. Afterward, I developed Sciatica after being our running. (I see that Labron James has it) Now with all this stress, I have developed terrible Shingles, and my doctor said the continued stress has lowered my immune system, and that has allowed the Shingles to develop. Anyone have this happen?

I've had it. I've been having shingles outbreaks once a year since 2020. Luckily the outbreaks I pretty tolerable but I always end up going to the doctor to get some medication.

Thanks for that. My Dr has me on Valgrex - an anti-virus, to try to surpress the virus and try to keep it from spreading. Using a hemp product on the blistering... it is terribly painful

I think I’ve been prescribed Valtrex and betadine spray. Usually the shingles go away pretty fast once I start the medication. I remember this one time I had shingles on my armpit and it was very uncomfortable.
