Which one affects you the most? I've had allergies to dust mites as long as I can remember. I developed food allergies later. To accommodate for my allergies, my house has hardly any carpeted floors, and when I look for places to move to, carpeting is an issue. However, I would say that my allergy to soy is the biggest. A lot of things have soy as a preservative, which has altered my entire diet. I'm also allergic to nuts (peanuts are not nuts), and while that means I can't have pistachio nuts anymore, nuts are less common in foods.

Sesame is now mixed in to bread (not seeds on top) being used as sesame flour because companies don't want to pay for clean facilities so they're adding it to things that it was never in before so they don't have to worry about it. Sesame is becoming a more common allergy here in America at least, and things like "Ciabatta" bread at say Starbucks in an egg sandwich is hiding this ingredient without it being obviously posted on drive throughs. It's on their website but I rely on words meaning things too. Ciabatta bread doesn't use sesame flour. Call or something else so I have a fighting chance lol.
Also allergies are annoying for everyone. I feel bad telling waiters no seriously this isn't BS I will go into anaphylaxis. So I call restaurants ahead of time and politely ask if this is annoying to them I understand and can go somewhere else. I say it to them because I hate being an annoying customer despite the fact I can't help it having food allergies.
I'm lucky that none of my allergies are anaphylactic. They give me horrible diarrhea and eventually make it impossible to swallow, but the second one is slow acting and can be mitigated as long as I don't continue.
Be careful with the food allergies (I know that's a dumb thing to say when you already know this lol) because mine were like that and got worse. If you don't carry an EpiPen you should.
I hardly ever eat out, and I make the wait staff bring out the ingredients list before I order anything new. I also get the EXACT same thing every time. Some people may find it boring, but it is a safety thing. Plus, if I like it, I eat it, so I know I'm getting something I like. As for things that aren't in a restaurant, I usually bring my own food or make it myself. When using Instacart I always read the ingredients list.
That's good! What's the one thing you get every time?
My daughter is allergic to eggs, milk, grass, pet hair, nuts, mould, dust...
I swear she's allergic to the world!!
Asthma, through dust, dust mites, high humidity or smog. Probably one or two other things. My strong hay fever has disappeared, though.
