I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 2 years old. I injured my ankle and from that point on life has been one curve ball after another. It’s rough illness to have. It’s nice to talk to people who get it. So who here has Ra or something similar?

I have Sjogren's Syndrome and it's hell to live with!
I'm going on 10 years with it now. I have so many symptoms and every day is different.
This disease has a mind of its own!!
One day it will hit my digestive system. The next day I will wake up itching.
The day after that I will have a headache and my right arm will hurt.

It's maddening!!😞

The only real health issue I have is a form of stress/urge incontinence, which isn't all that much fun either.

Everyone has something going on and I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t want too talk about it. Well this stuff needs to be talked about. Yeah. It fucks with your head as much as it fucks with your body. So many years I felt ugly because of my illness ugh just thinking less of myself because I can’t do things like everyone else. I mean shit I walk with a crutch because I walk on my damn toes all day long and it just makes you feel broken and less deserving you know what I mean. Ugh

Oh, I so do know. I had to deal with a lot of shame before I could get anywhere close to self-acceptance. And I still have low self-esteem days. (Which I try to compensate for with my narcissism 🤣) And yes, it does need to be talked about and I'm very glad you spoke up. 💖

I have chronic persistent pollen allergies. The underlying condition is indeed an autoimmune disease. Just this morning thanks to that allergy. I had a pretty unpleasant asthma attack and I rarely have those.

M wife was diagnosed with it. She is taking Methotrexate but cannot stay on it long term. She is getting a series of infusions that scare the crap out of me. It is too soon to tell if it will work.

I know the whole thing is scary but the infusion help me too. I first had them do the Iv but now I’m able to inject myself and yeah I’m on methotrexate as well and folic acid and orincia shots once a week

It’s taken over my body. I’m disfigured my knees are fucked. Need hip and knee replacement soon. I’m fighting like hell because they want to wait until I’m 40 and I know it’s only 5 years but I need this shit now
