And I'm not necessarily referring to dramatic gap teeth (such as that of the girl on the Rimmel London commercial) but just, gap teeth, in a general sense.
For example. I have gap teeth, but it's the slightest gap, it's not wide at all. And I used to be very self-conscious of it, until I was a junior in high school (two years ago) but then I actually started getting compliments on it, and it became a part of who I am, really. So when I was offered braces, I kindly declined (the rest of my denture is straight, so it wasn't too needed really).
