Why do guys like Nicki Minaj ?

I was always told guys like virgins, girls who don't cuss, girls who seem approachable, and natural girls with real boobs. I always considered a boob job and guys would always say, "Fake boobs feel weird, they suck." and now, Nicki Minaj pops up and guys are going googly eyed for silicone boobs and ass. What is the deal? She is vulgar, barely dressed, and just plain rude. They way she disrespected Mariah Carey on American Idol was just insane. I like Nicki's music, and I'm not trying to hate on her, I just want to understand. I won't bash nicki, I believe she is VERY attractive, just I liked how she looked better BEFORE her surgeries. She didn't need to fix anything. Lots of children and young girls listen to her music and her getting surgery sets a bad example. "If you hate your body...fix it. If you cuss and wear skimpy clothing, guys will adore you." That's not the case. That will just get these young girls in an irreversible situation that they will never get a 'redo'. She makes it seem like sex leads to love. When it should be the inverse. What do you see in her?

Even my boyfriend is obsessed with her and I just don't get it. Should or shouldn't we all just hit up our local plastic surgeons? What gives?

This isn't about HATE it's about UNDERSTANDING.

I am not jealous it's just I feel like normal girls just constantly get compared to her every time a guy looks at us and we just aren't up to snuff to her expensive barbie doll surgeries. She's talented, I get that, but she just makes me feel incredibly insecure. I love Nicki, but at the same time I think she is a bad role model to younger girls considering she makes me feel the need to get surgeries as well.

You say it isn't about hate and that you're not jealous, but then say she makes you feel incredibly insecure. You then go on to say you won't bash her but then you proceed to do so. Hypocrite much? I don't know where you get your info from but not all guys like virgins or girls that don't cuss or natural boobs. Guys have many diff tastes and types so for you to stereotype is pretty ignorant. Nicki Minaj isn't the problem here. The problem seems to be w your insecurities and low self esteem. If you work on loving yourself and being comfortable w who you are then girls like Nicki won't bother you anymore. For the record what is so wrong w getting surgery if it makes you feel better about yourself? One of my best girlfriends got a boob job when she was in her 20s because she was flat as a board and felt terribly insecure her whole life. She feels a lot better about herself now so I say more power to her. Nicki Minaj is an entertainer and she is over the top and speaks her mind and dresses sexy cause she's playing a part. There have been many women before her that have done the same and you need to just get over it already.

Because all guys are different and there's no body that will please everybody. I know a lot of guys who love her and a lot of guys who hate her. Me, I'm nuetral on her. I'm not mad at her or anything, but I don't like her music or her personality (or her face for that matter). She's just living her life; she's not a role model. And people have to get a little bit better at being more independent minded instead of blindly following celebrities.

Yeah, she has a great body. But I appreciate all different kinds of bodies. Just because I think Nicki has a hot body (that she paid for) doesn't mean I think the bodies of all real women are sh*t. I'm willing to be that you are attractive and don't need surgery. I just don't like when women are so insecure and suggest that it's all that men like, or they bash the bodies of the celebrities.

I know ALL men aren't Nicki crazed. Just the fact that my boyfriend is googly eyed over her makes me nervous. Physically she's everything I'm not. I mean, I used to be decently figured, C's, & a somewhat hourglass shape, but I felt fat at 145 pounds and ugly. I dropped down to 106-115 pounds. Now he just calls me too boney & flat butted. It hurts, because I WANTED to be confident like Nicki, but I have always struggled borderline anorexic.. I liked Nicki's natural bod before surgeries. :)

I like Nicki's confidence, I personally find her pretty, but she looked prettier before all the silicone.. and some of her music (Super bass, Moment 4 Life, Starships, The non trashy or vulgar stuff..) I just really don't like her personality...

I don't think very many guys do find Nicki Minaj hot. I find her repulsive physically and in terms of her behavior . Unlike you, I don't even like her music.

I absolutely despise fake boobs and butts too. Small, real boobs are better than big, fake boobs.

Also, as for what you were told, I think most guys do like those things (I certainly do). The only exception is virginity, where I think guys are pretty evenly split with many guys not minding either way. I don't mind either way on the issue of virginity.

You were lied to.

Guys like sex. They like girls who are sexually appealing.

That doesn't mean they would date or like a relationship with those girls. Just that the little horny devil inside of them would like to pound on some easy puss.

When it comes to things like fake boobs versus natural... guys like all sorts. No matter what you have, there will be guys out there who will like them. Not necessarily all guys, but never NO guys.

If you want fake t*ts, go ahead and get them. Some guys will like them and some won't.

If you want natural t*ts, then don't get surgery. Some guys will like them and some won't.

For every 10 guys you see who lusts after Nicki, I'm sure I could find a few who can't stand her.

It is nerve shaking, especially since he usually prefers black girls. I just wanted a man's insight. I know guys like sex. I mean I was always told they had this fantasy thing where they wanted to be a girl's first. I just don't understand why guys who get sex all the time or have gf's are still obsessed with her. Someone needs to translate the male mind into a book
