I am curious how common it is. My experience tells me that it's very uncommon as no one I've talked to has ever heard of it and even thinks it would be gross.

I'm a girl who enjoys her food a lot. My boyfriend----less so. I notice things like when we go out, I'll order myself a medium latte and he'll get a small or I'll get a full meal and he'll just get a bowl of soup or a salad. I know that the concern isn't money and he's not on a diet, so I asked him about it and he said he doesn't care; I should just order whatever I want. The thing is that he's really sweet and I'm afraid that he may just be trying to keep me from being self-conscious about eating. So I'm wondering what you all think of it? Does it weird you out when a girl eats more than you?

Im curious what is better. I was in the lower/middle end of my healthy weight range when dating my ex and this was very hard for me... I basically starved.

now I'm middle / upper end of healthy weight

But now its hard as miss ex and want sweets for comfort and to be social I need energy. anyways I'm curious guys, is it better for ex to be skinny or social after breakup? which makes you want her more.

I'm just graduated from college and JUST got my first job. Living at home has been SO rough.. not to mention I think my mom has a problem.

I'll be moving out soon... thank goodness. I just wish we could have a good relationship.

In regards to her eating issues. She likes to look at my plate and tries to make sure she is eating less than me. She starves herself throughout the day and binges at dinner. She complains about losing weight and says she never has an appetite. I told her I was here for her if she wanted to talk and she told me that she's just under stress from Christmas... she's been "stressed" about something for the last 3 years. The other day she had a hard boiled egg for breakfast, 1/2 of an English muffin with cheese for lunch and then ate a few bites of the inside of a potato, ate some red meat and two bites of her salad for dinner. I'm so convinced she has an eating disorder. It has been awful to watch. She cuts her food into tiny pieces, she looks at what I am eating, she looks at her food and says "oh there is no way I can eat all that!"

She's very manipulative too. She'll look at my food and tell me there is no way she can eat that much. She takes bites and then pushes her food around like no one notices. Or she hold it on her fork and pretend like she's listening when you're talking... or she'll drink more wine.

She drinks A LOT of wine. I think she goes to bed practically drunk every night. At least in my opinion. She starts at 5 pm every day and has had at least one or 2 by dinner at 7. Then she drinks 1-2 per hour til 11 pm. drinking problem? I think so!

As for me. I am almost 24 years old and thank god I will be moving out soon. I wanted to stay here to save money, but I really just... think that would be bad. Tonight was my hospital department's party. My dad works in the same department and isn't going because we have to work tomorrow. She refused to let me go because it was "far" and it is "dark" out. It's 25 min away on the freeway and like 3 turns off of the freeway too! I looked it up. She loves to control me and my life. People at work were horrified when I said my mom was upset because I wanted to go to my own party! I should have gone.

I truly think she is manipulative and abusive though. Luckily, I can see it. Tonight she asked my dad at the table why my dad always defends me and why I never fight with my dad. I said he didn't elicit these types of problems with me. Tonight, he said he wasn't thrilled about me driving there alone and said not to drink and drive... that was the end of the discussion? my mom? she had to badger me over and over again about how she's been and how it isn't that great and that I'm wasting my time.

I kind of feel abused at this point. I'm almost 24, I pay my own gas, I buy my own groceries when there aren't things here to eat. I don't have a car payment anymore. I feel trapped in my house. Now she's telling me I can't move out right away. Help?

When I was visiting my family in Peru my grandma and family always watched out for each other. If someone was eating too many of the unhealthy things or eating too much someone would lovingly mention it and/or give them some of the healthy food. My uncle calls his wife "gordita" which is like a cute way of saying "fatty." and she laughs calls him bandito. She is fat but she isn't concerned with it. I had gained a bit of weight and so when I went over there my grandma was like, "oh no you're fat! I'll make you some good healthy food." She'd mention it every now and then if my cousins or uncles/aunt called to ask how I was. I ended up losing a ton of weight and went back to my pre-finals weight and my confidence soared up! Even when she was calling me fat, it didn't effect me at all because she was doing it because she cared and not in a mean way. Also she stuffed me with healthy food and she was more mad that I wouldn't eat more lol.

My boyfriend and I will watch out for each other too. Like if he's on his 3rd bowl of ice cream I'll point it out and if I'm on my 3rd pizza slice he'd point it out. We exercise together and if I gain weight and ask him if it looks like I have he answers honestly.

I don't understand why we should lie to each other and beat around the bush. If you're around close friends/family/ SO shouldn't we watch out for each others' health and esp. if someone is becoming unhealthy? What do you guys think?

I mean, my boobs are extremely heavy. I am not a fatass but all my fat gets restored there, so you understand... Sometimes it's very uncomfortable but that's not what bothers me.

Well, I feel a bit embarrassed talking about this subject but I feel like I have to because it's gotten a bit serious recently. Allow me to explain, I value every form of life, and I'm also a vegetarian. Sometimes, when I work out, I usually wear comfortable clothes (sweatpants and a t-shirt), so it's natural to have some cleavage on my work-out shirts. Well, now I will get straight to the point... Some insects (mosquitoes, flies and sometimes even bees(!)) get trapped between my breasts and my breasts manage to suffocate them. That usually happens in the summer or when I work out. That's a really serious issue and it makes me feel very sad. So people, is there a natural way to lose fat from my breasts? I am currently working out but I haven't noticed a change in my breast size, also I want to become completely flat-chested. So I need some advice. What should I do?

I am overweight right now by about 25-30 pounds. I don't have many friends and never have been happy with my body shape and excess weight. I understand that losing weight and getting in shape won't help me get friends but I am wondering if I will impress people? I know this sounds really superficial but I want the people who I graduated with to say "wow she has changed!" Is that crazy of me to think or do other people think the same?
