So.. I'm an Eagles fan.. so my season is done.. but as I looked around the wreckage of what is the NFL... I have found the match-up that I want.

Saints vs Chargers

with the Saints winning...

So Drew can win it all on the biggest, baddest stage.. against the team that tossed him away...

Bengals... But Ohhhhh Noooooo no no no they got beat by the stupid Chargers. Y'know it's funny because I'm in a class in which only two people really dig NFL - me and a girl. This girl is really nice and cool, but unfortunately on the fast track to becoming a junky or worse maybe even a straight up crack whore.. and it's breaking my heart to see it it's not right.

Anyway, she's a Chargers fan and I'm a Bengals fan. I remember when they met in the season the Bengals won and I had to bust her proverbial balls about that one haha. But now, haven't seen her yet since the playoff result, haha she's gonna' give it right back even harder. Her team got me back where it counts. Bengals do so bad at playoffs despite having a pretty decent record of getting there!

Anyway, who do I wanna' see win it? Panthers. Straight up. Why? Because I've gotten used to them being not much special.. they really surprised me being so damn good this season, and I want to see them go all the way. Besides, I love big cats and they're the only big cat left in the thing. Also because they've never won it before. I'm pretty sure I'm right there.. as far as I recall they're one of the newest teams too.

Another thing - what is the deal with the defending champions of the superbowl making a shameful attempt to retain the title!?! Giants won it and didn't even make the playoffs after a bad season. And then the Ravens won it last after a great season, and now didn't make the playoffs. And the Falcons, I know they didn't win it but they were titans last season and yet this season they've been pretty abysmal really.

Although not my personal team, (I'm from Pittsburgh, so my team is the Steelers), I have always been a fan of both the Colts and the Saints. I also am a big Peyton Manning fan, so I wouldn't mind if the Broncos won either.

Too bad for the Eagles. Being from PA, it would have been nice to see Chip take them at least a little further. I personally have always been a huge Peyton Manning fan, and I would love to see him win it all this year, maybe as a nice cap off for his career. If not the Broncos, then the 49ers, the Seahawks, or the Patriots (in that order).

So Denver vs. San Fancisco in the Super Bowl, I'd root for Manning, but wouldn't be disappointed with the outcome.

I voted D, since my Eagles got knocked out the Playoffs, I'm rooting for the 49ers. That coach and roster of players deserves a championship this year.

As much as I would like Peyton to win another championship, I still can't get over that he chose the Broncos to go to in the off-season he was cut from Indy.

I have silver-and-black in my veins (aka Raiders fans in the family), so I can't get myself to root for the Broncos or the Chargers.

I hope the Patriots every year since they usually make it into the playoffs anyway... With all the injuries the pats have I think it's unlikely but they've been getting by on sheer intensity so far. Hopefully they can keep it up.

I really hope Denver doesn't go all the way... If the Pats could beat them this year I'm sure other teams can as well. I love Peyton Manning though as he's always given Brady a run for his money. Two of the greatest QBs in their generation hands down.

GTFO Hate to break it to you but where were all these so called Saints and 49ER fans 5, 6 or 7 years ago? Nowhere. New England has had fans since 1960-90's even when those teams had horrible records. Hell they went 1-15 in the 90 season and still had fans heck even when the Steelers started the season 0-4? They were still fans. I've been a Pats fans since I was 7 that's 21 years ago. I have been a Pats fan for the entire Brady/Belichick era and I have had a difficult time keeping up with the players. The thing with football is there are so many players unlike baseball or basketball on the roster. I can usually name an en entire roster of my favorite nba or mlb team once the rosters are set.
