What are good hobbies to replace video gaming?

i game way too much over the past few years, to the point its an addiction and not just a hobby I do for one or two hours. I tried watching shows/movies but it doesn't work. I want to do a hobby that I can do on my own , since I have little to no friends lol which is why video gaming was perfect for that..

doing and looking into something else that could inquire being alone will bore tf outta u unless it absolutely intrigues ur ambition. . join a club or go down to the animal shelter and ask if u can volunteer doing anything for the facility or animals. majority of people love dogs... ask if u can take some on walks or give a few a bath a week. Ull grow companions with the dogs and instant friendships with good people that are kind hearted. I mean... it's what iv done... I get so bored and I don't even game...
I love animals. I don't think they could turn u down from helping them feed and water them at the very least. Ull meet some very loving and characteristic animals meanwhile. that's always fun..

You just need to find something you like to do. I have taken up a few different hobbies in the last few years. Leather (I make my own bags, satchels, wallets etc). Stain glass. I started with a small sunlight catcher, and I am working up to doing a window. I grow my own vegetables. Make quilts in winters. I would love to learn woodworking skills and learn to make furniture. I like to learn skills that I can use in everyday life.

Well, maybe you have a creative, problem-solving mind & that's why you've been so invested in gaming. Try something like painting, sketching or playing an instrument. It's something you can do in any style you want, you can use it to express yourself & you can use that perfectionist nature you've developed to push yourself to get better & better.

I have had the same problem, for years i stayed isolated in my room from everyone, i barely made friends in high school and even after that I've still had issues. Im still battling it but i have improved myself by joining a gym, it will alwayd be difficult yknow but after a while some people definatly will interract with you and you'll become more confident. Eventually you will crave that feeling and you'll find yourself there more and more often and eventually you'll just game for about 30mins a day. this won't happen over night tho, im being real it takes weeks to months

Programming video games or programming in general. Maybe you could get a video game that actually helps teach you how to play an insturment. Either way you have to have some passion in life other than video games and then you have to enjoy that passion enough to find a hobby in it. Maybe learn art, drawing, and then start writing your own comic book. Anime/manga/reading is a good one that can take you mind of of video games.

Hiking is a good hobby that you can do alone or with someone. It only costs the amount of gas you use and you feel better mentally and physically afterwards and you tend to meet friendly people on the trail.

I think hiking is one of the best ways to spend the day.

Filmmaking. Keeps you occupied. Plus that's a great field to get into.

And if you're experienced enough it's possible to hit the big time.

Starting young is the key. I started when I was 21.

I'm 22 however I've improved a lot in one year. My most recent film is amazing.

I'm going to be disappointed if you do but one of my hobbies is art. I still incorporate video games into it so I get to do what I love but it relaxes your mind. And then you come out with a badass product to display in your house.

Learn a skill like magic or music or art. By the way its not like playing video games is gonna hurt you or anything I'm just saying but if you feel that way then try something new.
