i give harsh critique, so please don't be offended.
if you're a beginner with like dslr (manual mode) or analogue photography, i'd say at least good job on the technicality of exposure. also you hit critical focus on your subject which is fine and worth a mention if you're working without autofocus.
but otherwise this looks like one of a billion snapshots of a flower. really nothing special to it. like i don't see that much thought went into composition.
if you're litterally just starting out on photography, i'd suggest to work with the angle, framing, composition and maybe choice of crop. so like isolate this one flower. try to cut out the other ones. or alternatively have a few more flowes all the way inside the frame and not cut in half. cause that makes the image look busy and hastily taken.
if you're taking it with the phone, try to go even closer, so you get a bit more backround blur and also either it's generally more interesting to take a lower angle. the angle that you can see from where you're standing is usually the most boring. so either go dead straight looking down on the lower, which is very unforgiving when it comes to symmetry. or go lower angle, which makes it instantly a little more interesting.
Thank you so much for your opinion and the tips, I am still beginner with phone photographing and your tips enlightened me :)
yeah man. don't get yourself discouraged if you only have a phone. these things are getting crazy good these days. the only downside is the wide angle and the depth of field. but you can learn to work around that and still make your pics look decently professional.
Thank you, really appreciated :)
Very beautiful but curious what your thinking is about the comp. I want to crop is so hard and get rid of about 33% of the space on the left and also around 25% of the top.
Like so if you'll forgive editing your image:
But I might be too conventional here in my thinking so I want to know what you think about it and why you chose this comp!
Thank you for opinion, I am still beginner and learning about photographing :)
