I went to "parties' in my teens and 20's and always looked forward to the weekends, as I loved to dance socially, and have even danced at parties thrown by my DMV peers, for special occasions.
I always liked a "party' when in my teens and 20's, and always looked forward to the weekend for just that. Dancing was my driving force and I used to compete in some small venues, (Marriott used to have dance contests, and my SO and I won a bottle of Champagne one Saturday night.
In retrospect, those were the most fun times of my life. I was not a 'drinker' per se, as that screws up your ability to dance, I was a Michael Jackson fan and still am amazed at this dance prowess
Many times guys/girls threw parties just to get 'smashed' and that was never my driving force behind going to a party... Party on!!!

Not now but like 15-25 oh yah. My friends in college all worked at a micro brewery so they’d get free beer and have keg parties. They’d make quite abit if money. It was $5 girls and $10 guys all you could drink.

They had this van with taps on the side and lived in a town house complex full of students. The beer was micro brewery awful but free so for me so I tolerated it. The entire complex would be full of people had some good times there.

My grandfather used to have parties at his house and all of the family would go so it would be all of the cousins, aunts, uncles. My uncle had a few get togethers with him as a DJ and lots of food and his family at our house a few years ago. We would party like till 10 in the night time though couldn't do that again cause he doesn't have energy as he did back then. Those were crazy times as we had a few fights between family members that broke out though no one got injured.

Not a huge party person. Sure, when I was younger, but not these days. I go to the pub every once in awhile with friends or coworkers.

Mine are small events with only a trusted few, around whom I can get drunk and know I'm with friends who will make sure everyone is safe.
