I dont know if this just me that tends to do this by let me know if i am lol. But let’s say the history of basketball interests me. I’ll spend maybe a week looking up as much as I can find then afterwards I think it’s stupid and don’t know why I did it. No offense to anyone that’s actually interested in history of basketball by the way lol

It's not uncommon for people to develop temporary interests in a particular subject or topic and then lose interest shortly thereafter. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as boredom, distraction, or a shift in priorities.
It's important to remember that everyone's interests and motivations are different, and what may be fascinating to one person may not be interesting to another. It's also okay to change your mind or lose interest in something, as long as you're not harming yourself or others in the process.
If you find yourself frequently losing interest in things you were once passionate about, it may be worth exploring whether there are underlying issues or factors contributing to this pattern. For example, depression or anxiety can sometimes lead to a lack of motivation or interest in activities that were once enjoyable.
It's always a good idea to take care of yourself and seek help if you're struggling with mental health or other issues that may be impacting your interests and motivations.
It's common to tons of people 🤔😊
Ohh ok because I thought there was something wrong with me or something because the only thing that has consistently been interesting and fun for me is basketball, football and cooking/baking. Everything else is like a sample trial.
Your genetics is linked to your likings. You get good in whatever your mentality is designed for. For example, people are meant to be teachers, doctors, lawyers, etc. Before of whatever their genetically is designed for them.
