Trending & News A Hoya-bella has an incredible scent more present than a hoya-carnosa. It needs a warm climate but it's worth it.
Hoya-bella
thank you 🙏
how often does it flower? does it need special humidity conditions?
what’s the average temperature in your home
my apartment is like 17-19degree year round 😅
I'd try to go up to 20°C if you can, but I grew up in England in the 70s which wasn't exactly hot!
If you can keep it fed and a stable environment then the flowers start to basically just keep coming. I'm actually finding it harder to maintain the atmosphere in South Africa than I did in the UK, but it still flowers every couple of weeks and they last a week or so.
The plant tends to be long lived - my grandparents had one that I had to leave in England when I emigrated that was 120 years old then and covered in flowers.
They tolerate dry spells too, so don't panic if you forget to water it one week!
sounds like a dream of a plant. thank you
Mogra..
thanks it doesn’t really grow indoors. needs direct sunlight and hot temps
I thought you are asking for porch or country yard..
i have a honeysuckle right outside the door. almost flowering. i’m excited for it. just wanted something indoors as well that guarantees to flower and fill a space with perfume
Thanks for mho
