Any recommendations for fragrant houseplants?

for the record
i have a chinese perfume plant. just bought a hoya bella it’s arriving this week. had an orange jessamine but it died on me
i’ve got a honeysuckle and fragrant lilies outside. but I’m obsessed with indoor plants atm

A Hoya-bella has an incredible scent more present than a hoya-carnosa. It needs a warm climate but it's worth it.

I'd try to go up to 20°C if you can, but I grew up in England in the 70s which wasn't exactly hot!

If you can keep it fed and a stable environment then the flowers start to basically just keep coming. I'm actually finding it harder to maintain the atmosphere in South Africa than I did in the UK, but it still flowers every couple of weeks and they last a week or so.

The plant tends to be long lived - my grandparents had one that I had to leave in England when I emigrated that was 120 years old then and covered in flowers.

They tolerate dry spells too, so don't panic if you forget to water it one week!
