People you follow and they remove you randomly. So you follow back and you’re following for a while and they remove you again…. Just to see how long it goes on. I don't know why it’s amusing

I don't follow anyone on social media, including this site, out of principle and I don't accept any follow requests either.. Plus I'm Anon most of the time on here, sooo

I don't, but I see people request to follow all the time just to unfollow once I accept. It's stupid. If I see someone do it more than once, I just ignore after that.

It's how people trigger so many followers.
It's been going on since social media began. They used to promote the practice in the early stages.
The people who ran talk shows would follow you to get you to follow them back, then take the time to unfollow you. Never understood why someone would take that second of their life caring to do it. It was funny. But then I only had social media for weeks. Left them to their games.

Nah, I don't pay attention to who follows me and I only follow a very select few people who if they removed me, I wouldn't certainly "play games" with them and keep refollowing them. There's nothing to be gained by doing that.
