Is it rare for a girl to like Rock/Metal music?

Whenever I tell a guy that’s what I’m into, they always look like I have 3 heads, I don’t have tattoos or anything, I dress like Betty from Riverdale LOL, maybe that’s why for me personally. But like even if you go to a rock concert, do you see girls there or not really? Is it just a more male territory?

Music is just music, people can like any kind and all different kinds even if they have a specific favorite & preference of genre. I like listening to hyperpop for example, it's not a type that's for everyone (can have vulgar words depending on what artist you listen to).
