How many listen or enjoy instrumental music as a main?

I'm mainly into Berlin-school music, or underground metal music where I only really care about instrumentation + vocals (delivery) not lyrics.
Sludge, Funeral Doom, Death Doom, Dissonant or Tech Death, and Black metal + Minimalist but artistic music mainly Dark Ambient or sometimes even Noise / Harsh Noise is what I almost just listen to. Dungeon Synth too. All of which help me feel voidish or spacy you might say. As in lost, though some metal albums certaintly are just another level.
Could be Swans (Michael Gira) too. Even though my friend who introduced them focuses on lyrics, I care nothing about them but instrumentation.

Lyrics mean nothing to me, as lyrics represent ideas, and I don't need these thoughts.. I have mine.. so enjoy the vibe of instrumentation. Along with vocals of course.
How many almost are just instrumentation listeners?

Haha, thanks to my friend. He usually despises peoples' tastes of which I discussed with him. He ended up saying: At least that I search and then like something based on that. Be it from my own or based on his suggestions.

Just liking from your own search is more than just liking whatever is there or advertised.
I don't really know much as him but thanks. I first started with game music from Sift Heads 😂 then piano covers and chillouts then dark rap instrumental beats till my friend opened me up to Metal and Electronic Music with plus all other different genres of Nowave, Noise, Industrial.. etc and now I choose whatever I like.

See, when I share or put something like so I get told: Nah, too cold or quiet.. and they suggest something near in terms of instrumentation (usually just for few seconds or part if it, due to pace and focus of song obviously) but has lyrics. As if they can't handle instrumentation only. Or make me feel too passive enjoying instrumentals.
