I work on practical , real , wealth creation not wims , I may buy them 50k of a great gambling company scrip , so they actually learn that you never win gaming.

And of course we'd never set foot in this Casino / gaming house again. But that's me , few would have my discipline.

Anyone who knows me knows I used to play poker, but I don't gamble. I'm not like Worm from the movie rounders, but I need an edge if I'm going to play for money.

So if the intent was for her to give me 50 bucks and me just to have fun. I'd rather put the money in my pocket. Cause to me I can't have fun in a game where i know the house has an edge on me. So if I just went to the tables and just let the money ride with intent that I was going to probably lose it and lucked out with 100k I wouldn't feel like I deserved that money.

It's funny you ask this question coach. Because one Christmas I bought every one of my family members lottery tickets as sort of a stocking stuffer. And my niece won 10k from it. She gave me 500 dollars of it. Since I didn't feel like I deserved that 500, I had that converted all to gift cards and divided that between my family.

So I've kind of been down this road before.

If no agreement was made, none. There’s also the question of ‘did they win anything?’. If they won zip, i’m probably picking up dinner, drinks, the room and gratuities. If they make a big deal about it. I give them half and end the partnership. If you don’t use your grown folks words to express your thoughts and feelings, you don’t get the benefits of having a conversation you were clearly to dumb or scared to have.

Probably $1,000. Because that money was a gift, there's no reasonable expectation or entitlement to a portion of the winnings. I would want to give $1,000 as a way to share the love while putting the lion's share of the money to productive yes.

If it is a spouse, the money is both of theirs.

Is it just someone you've been dating a while? 6 months? 2 years? Is it a first date? These details would affect the result.
