Dockside Extortionist (Already Banned and Rightfully So).

Here is Lady Octopus, a card which costs half as much total mana to play and produces nearly unlimited mana advantage.

Basically, whoever casts Lady Octopus first wins the game... and you're allowed to use it as your Commander, so it becomes effectively unkillable and produces around 20 net mana advantage within the first 4 turns.

Lady Octopus. As you say, if you play her first then you’ve essentially won the game. I don’t think Dockside Extortionist is as bad, your opponent could have barely any artefacts or enchantments, rendering the creature almost useless.
Yeah. I think Wizards must have ten-year-olds on their development team these days. About 20 years ago they swore to stop producing cards like this, and yet here we are 20 years later and they are putting one or two cards per set like this. The game makes no sense with a one drop that mass produces mana and another one-drop which mass produces 5/5 flying creature tokens.
Fortunately, the card only costs about 50 cents, so everyone who wants to play a "Lady Octopus" deck can do it... until it gets banned.
I think the commander format needs at least two rules changes anyway.
1) All cards that are banned in any format or restricted in Vitage should be banned in Commander.
2) The Command Zone should be done away with or modified. If a ""Commander" gets Exiled or Removed from the game, it should stay exiled or removed from the game, like everything else. Making commanders immune to Exile makes broken stuff like this unstoppable.
Also, I didn't even demonstrate breaking Lady Octopus to the maximum degree.
Put Pemmin's Aura in your lady Octopus Deck, and you get to activate her second ability multiple times per turn.
The 1st is.
