Do you know of a good equalizer for music reproduction on a PC?

APO should be more than enough, but...

it is kind of pointless to have it if you don't have decent speakers or a GREAT pair of headphones

and there's also the file itself... OPUS or better would actually give you a better experience, than an MP3 just won't even try to do

I've tried different headphones already. Some of these sound muffled, some too highly picthed, if that makes sense at all.

That's why I think some sort of tweaking before the output phase would be best. I could try putting an amplifier between PC and headphones. It's not so much sound level as sound quality.

I get your struggle because it took me a while to find headphones that I liked when my siberea's broke and I couldn't buy them anymore. (I also wanted something more durable). The cloud alpha's I have I love the sound off and that thankfully is a durable headset. I only had to get the cushens replaced so far.

If it still works Viper4Windows with a convolver for your specific headset would be a good way to go if it still works. if you can't obtain a convolver it would still have a lot of other settings.

I found a free one online, but I don't recall the name. I think it might have been Peace GUI. You're better off buying a PC with decent speakers in my opinion.
