What are your hobbies and how did you get into them?

I collect records, and a couple other things.
I'm also into mazes and paths and spirals. I think that's why I like all of those. They each have spirals or paths and are a kind of maze, so to speak. I'd kinda like to take a walk or ride through the grooves of a record.
I've also always been into music, mostly drums.
I'm also into magic, I think part of that is because it allows me to know how to do things that most people don't know about. I kinda like using unordinary things to solve problems. Another reason I like mazes.
I'm slightly interested in new tech. Like, if I don't know what's out there to help us do things, I'd end up using ordinary methods.
I also love comedy so, I collect certain types of cartoons and listen to lots of comedians.
Some of these loves I inherited from my dad, he was also a drummer who loved music and records, was very funny, liked puzzles and magic and using things to solve issues.

They are very IT related, I sat on my dads lap when I was 4 years old and he was installing Windows 98 on his computer. I loved it and it snowballed from there. I kept tinkering with the settings and broke his windows constantly. He was fed up with that and gave me my own Windows 98 just for my own and then said "here's the deal, I am only going to install this for you every now and then. If you break this you have to fix it yourself or you will have to wait until I am in the mood to fix it again and then you won't have a computer for a while." But it was to fun so I kept breaking it and using the knowledge he thought me I was able to repair it. He basically told me which things I could absolutely not do to avoid breaking the computer or his Windows 98 completely, and then he thought me how to fix mine. So at the end of age 4-5 I could install Windows 98 and just been doing more IT stuff since. Got my career out of it to.

Pilates, jogging. I got into them because I tried once, felt great and decided to keep doing it. I do pilates twice a week and ten thousand steps every day1

Funny thing is, most of my hobbies started because of gaming 🎮
I got into games as a kid, then slowly added other stuff that made gaming even more fun. I love co-op games with my boyfriend, puzzle games, and exploring big open worlds. That led me to puzzle books, crafting DIY gaming decor, and reading game lore. I also enjoy board games with friends and some hiking to clear my head. All of it keeps life balanced and fun 💫

I completely enjoy sailing, and I got into it because my father taught me how to sail when I was five years old, and I've been doing it ever since. I'm fortunate enough to live in a place where the ocean is very accessible and where there are lots of places to keep a boat and go sailing! I also enjoy surfing a great deal, and of course I live right by the ocean, so the surf is also extremely accessible. I used to enjoy flying small planes, but I stopped doing it after my close friend was killed in his own plane after he made a miscalculation regarding the weight and balance. I can't quite bring myself to get into another small airplane and fly it again.
