its fiction, but in my opinion also has a lot more realism that we can learn from as well in comparison to most other genres. also i just find them interesting lol

I've read a ton of SF, going back to when the genre started in (arguably) 1928. I started to lose interest when I got to the 1970s, it started to get so dumb.

I blame George Lucas ngl.

Since horror novels would give me nightmares and I'm not a fan jf having nightmares, I avoid that genere. My favorite style is fantasy, but if the author is good, anything they write is good.
