For sober people, is hard to find a party to go to for new years eve?

Is it hard to make friends in general because everyone wants to drink and expects you to drink but you don't?

A party shouldn’t be about drinking , although I understand that that seems to be the focus. I can have a good time with or without alcohol and I’m only a social drinker and never get drunk or loose control. My advice is go to the party you want to , just move around and talk to many and try to avoid the ones that seem to be on a mission to get smashed and wasted
