I wouldn't necessarily say it's super bitchy, everyone's allowed to not respond to stuff I guess. But it does show they don't care much about being polite. Like come on man, we're all trying to be positive on the holidays!

I'd see it more as them not being considerate than full on bitchy. But I wouldn't lose all respect - just keep it in mind that they're probably not that thoughtful. Not worth stressing over, just move on and wish people who will actually say it back next time, ya know? Don't let one lame non-response bring you down!
