Off to a decent start. Pretty slow, but I’m starting a new hockey season. My team for the fall season SUCKED, lmfao, we won the first game and lost the next 12. We had a couple good defensemen, one of which only played two games, and then one good forward, who was helpless trying to carry the rest of us. Just very lopsided due to one team getting all the studs for reasons too inconsequential and long to bother explaining. And then we got all the guys who are learning to play as adults, like myself. I’m a decent player if I have help around me, but I’m pretty damn limited in what I can do on my own against dudes who have played since kindergarten. Great group of guys, but we just couldn’t compete. We barely could keep possession of the puck, let alone get shots off. And I’m the big guy, so my job is standing in front of the goalie and screening him, and maybe redirecting someone else’s shot for a goal….. but those shots never came. I had four goals and I think around 10 assists the season before, my best yet. Last season I had 0 goals and 1 assist, lmfao. We just never had the puck.

So, this season, I got drafted by what I think will be one of the best teams. We won 6-1 and had one goal (super cheap tap-in, lmao) and an assist. So I’m already over last season’s point total, haha. And I have a lot of guys who can actually play. Our best defenseman played low level college. I tipped one of his shots and ALMOST had another goal. So I’ll either have a lot of redirection goals, or I’ll take a Division 3 clapper to the neck, lmfao. It’ll be a hell of a story either way😂

Happy Belated New Year to You. I had a busy time leading up to Christmas and then Christmas to New Year was a time of relaxing with zones of partying and madness (great glow sticks). New year was a mixed bag, seeing friends, hitting partying and club. First week back at work was not bad, mainly catching up, then the second week was intense, challenging I think we said. Today I am working out where I am and what next week will be. Looking forward to end of month, as have some partying end of Jan / beginning of February. I do not do resolutions other than try not to repeat when I was an arsehole the year before, always fail that one. Love your tattoos, really great. 👍

Happy new year! It was rough at first but I think I’ve made a lot of progress emotionally in this new year. I don’t do resolutions but I do try to make improvements after self reflection at the end of the year. I plan on finding myself this year and getting back to being outdoors and active more now that my baby is a toddler who walks.

I found out last week that I am not losing my job after all. That is the good news. The bad news is I have something pretty bad going on in my life.
