If you could pick a holiday destination right now, where would you go?

Imagine that your boss tells you that you can have two weeks off as of tomorrow. Work is slow, so he/she sends you home. Or you're at university and classes are suspended until further notice, no exams in sight.

For those of you who experience winter and are under 5 feet of snow, the prospect of going somewhere warmer is tempting. You can choose somewhere across the country, or go to an international airport, look at all the destinations on offer and pick one. Money is no object, but you're limited to one small suitcase and a backpack. Departure is imminent. Where would you go? And who would you want to go with?

My sister and I have always wanted to Travel to Japan and experience the culture and cuisines of both rural and urban areas so that's kind of a no brainer for me.
