What is or will be your Christmas Decoration Theme this year?

How will you decorate your home? Or tree? What will or is the theme of that decor? It could be even something as simple as the colours on your Christmas tree...

My theme will be:

Christmas.

Details:

- I have a wreath with 4 candles (which for a long time I missed to prepare in time)

- As a family tradition, a Christmas tree will be decorated on 24th in the morning. Here, my ''theme'' will be: ''what-the-hack-do-I-use-to-decorate-as-firs-are-not-available-around- here- and-I-dislike-plastic-trees''

- As one other family tradition I will avoid Americanesian style (sic!) consumerist exaggerations

Normally a Christmas tree (an artificial one, I'm done with killing trees that were raised for our benefit and visual pleasure and then dumped or burnt). Colours of tree decorations are red or white, or a mix of these two.

Since I moved out of my parent's place into my own place, I do not decorate for any religious celebrations because I find it a waste of time and energy to put up decorations for just a few days.

I am Christian but don't go to church and I don't need to celebrate an event that is highly controversial since nobody has been able to give a solid proof that the birth of the Christ did actually take place or did take place on that date.

All those accounts are based on the Bible that has been written by men but there is no scientific proof that they actually existed.

So, why should I decorate an event that I have doubts about?

I respect other people's beliefs. However there are a lot of people who do celebrate Christmas and so my question was directed to those people.
