  We’re going through a divorce. We did ask mutual friends not to take sides, but that request fell on deaf ears. Not that bothered. This time in 12 months I’ll be in my own place and on my Terms and Conditions. The joke is they want a lift back to save paying a fortune. I’ve told them I’ll be having a drink so the answer is no. They can’t have it both ways.

  Thank You. I’ve no issues with being civil, but a doormat I am not. And at least the friends I now have are the genuine ones in my life.
