What are your new years commitments?

As part of my commitment to my new outlook on life, I've realized that my negativity has been the sole thing holding me back. No big, mean federal agents knocked on my door like I feared they would if my political opposition was victorious. I have been reflecting a lot, since I was told by my doctors that my alcohol problem was at the point where I either stop or I will not live into the foreseeable future, I went 100 days of continuous absolute abstinence from drinking, then went for bloodwork. I went from an ALT level of 364 to what is now 30, normal is under 50. With this, I'm also back on Trikafta, a medication which changed my life as a CF patient. I see now that I was mean and nasty to you all, that's why I wasn't happy. Especially with a member here called Msc, he's a very successful, respectable man here working in the medical industry, he happens to lean left. I've been so, so mean to him, and if you're reading this, I'm so sorry for how I talked to you, and how I disrespected the empire you've built for yourself through your amazing levels of intelligence which far surpass mine. I am a lifelong conservative person, part of my growth is admitting my faults. Most liberal leaning people are whooping me in the real world, you're far smarter and more successful than I could ever be, I am jealous of you. I respect the lives you've established for yourselves, you're way more successful than me, and much smarter, too. For that, you have my respect, and this, I will say a way republicans are wrong: Weed should be legal, full on. Lifelong Republican and former alcoholic here: Alcohol is worse than weed in every possible way, my doctors all but told me I'd die before I turn 30 if I didn't get a damn grip, and alcohol is sold legally, so should marijuana, especially since it's way less harmful than alcohol. Ex alcoholic, lifelong conservative here, I say this: Legalize Marijuana, right now. I ask liberal people to say 1 way the DNC is wrong, positivity feels good! πŸ˜€
