If you have toxic family and parents would you invite them to your wedding?

Unfortunately, I can’t bring my family to my wedding as they would spoil it and their non supportive. Sadly if I had a mate I wouldn’t bring him/ her around them as this how toxic my family is. How would you guys handle this situation? Everyone can come to wedding my spouses friends, colleagues, family and some of my friends excluding my family. Currently there is no relationship between me and my family as they disowned me and treat me horrible including my mom.

For this situation would a private wedding be necessary?

Wedding is a memorable moment but if your family is toxic and makes your memorable day toxic then it is okh do not invite them. I also do not have good relationship with my family so do not talk to them beacuse everytime I try to talk to them they will only curse me and give bad comment so i stop talking to them. Now i just find a good partner to live with me happily.

Same I already made up my mind I don’t need my family at my wedding.. they will simple spoil it and cause drama.. their non supportive anyways

Exactly and do not feel guilt ever if you do not invite them it is because they are toxic i tell you this beacuse i have been through so just share things with you 🤗
