What is your opinion on short wedding dresses?

I have an idea of what I would want my wedding dress to look like if I were to get married. I would want something that I could transform into a shorter dress for the reception. What do you think?

I would wear panties. The shorter, the better the possibility of flashing someone in the course of the wedding or reception.

I use to be into wedding photography and it was mentioned in books to be becareful on shooting pictures up the bride's leg when most grooms remove the garter to throw at the single men at somepoint. A good number of brides go commando, if just to make it easier to go the bathroom.

I have heard that as the joke goes, he better hurry up and consumate the wedding before any last minute suitors tries to steal her from the groom. She is a wide open flower that day. Well, in spirit. You would be surprised how many, after a full day and evening, just have to nap or fall asleep pretty fast once they get to where they are going after the wedding.

I was also shocked that in rare instances brides like to flash the camera to tease. Especially the bridal photos done weeks or a month before the wedding. I have heard stories where the photographer got lucky at times and she gave him more than just his fees.

So it just depends on you. If you want to show off the legs and maybe more, wear shorter. Just remember that people judge you on what you wear.

I kind of like the idea of a medium short one that doesn't transform myself for my partner whenever I do marry.
But yeah, that idea sounds good, and if you like it you should go for it.
It's *your* wedding.
So the main people that need to be happy are you and your partner.

In my opinion it depends on a lot of factors of why you want a short dress. to me honestly I don't care if you have a short, long, big, slim, sexy, or elegant dress. that day is about celebrating two people that are going to be one under God and they truly or should truly love each other through thick and thin for better or for worse. it's all about what the bride wants on her day. If you want a short dress that's sexy for your wedding unless you're going to not have kids there then I say go for whatever you feel.
I mean if it's going to be hot outside and you get hot quickly I mean go for it but in my opinion I would not wear a short wedding dress it just to me. looks weird for some reason it makes me uncomfortable I prefer a long fitted or ball gown big poofy dress but that is just me.

Love them! Especially this one here that Kourtney Kardashian wore. Short is much more of a fashion statement then a long traditional dress.

The wedding us really fir the bride, and she should stand out, be unique. There will be plenty of women at a wedding wearing shirt dresses, stay with the classic long wedding dress. For the reception, it's perfectly acceptable to change into something more comfortable if you want.
