OY! She appeared to be normal while chatting and had decent but informal pic. We texted for like a week, she tells me she's recently orphaned a year ago. (That should have been my first red flag) But I was cool; everyone loses their parents one day. So we arrange to go for a walk one evening on the boardwalk by the water. She says I'll meet you there. I shower, dress casual but nice & go. She's late 15m. She tells me she's behind schedule and she'll be there soon. 30m still waiting (red flag#2). 1 hour She shows looking like she just got out of the gym in sweats. I thought maybe she figured she needed a vigorous walk.

It's a longtime ago, so I'm NOT remembering the exact conversation, but what's apparent to me is she doesn't look like her pic, she looks like a slob, she avoids eye contact, mumbles and is a TOTAL turn-off. I'm thinking how do I get out of this?

Mercifully, our date comes to an end, I stop by her car, and she's NOT getting out of my car. So, I say: "Well, nice meeting you. I have to go now." As she's getting out she says "this was nice, we'll do it again" I'm thinking NOT before I die!
