When is it ok to wear my bridal merch?

So I just got engaged and I am SO EXCITED! I bought one of those cute white sweatshirts that says “bride” on the front, and I really want to wear it but don’t want to look tacky. Is it ok to wear it anytime leading up to the wedding or just for wedding events? I need to know the etiquette with this kind of stuff lol

Okay, first off, do not, I repeat DO NOT, wear it to someone else's wedding. That's just crass. Also, don't give it to your fiancee to wear it someone else's wedding; that's still crass. Funnier, but crass. On Halloween, it's acceptable, but not exactly creative. Same with wearing it to your own wedding; no one can call that inaccurate, and you'd save a LOT of money on a dress, but they probably expect something a LITTLE fancier, at least.

Other than that, go nuts.
