I’m a size 16-18. I am hourglass, broad shoulders, fatter than I look, but more solid than fat. I have two dresses designed specifically for big women. Which is what I’ll be regardless of what I weigh. One is white, thick shoulder straps, a hint of cleavage, then flares at the waist with a teacup shape of a flowing tulle skirt, covered in little crystals. The skirt falls to the ankles. Dress two is a dark blue lace sleeved tulle skirted dress, with long lace sleeves, showing a hint of cleavage and a blue teacup shape of a flowing tulle skirt, flowing to the ankles. No crystal beading. It’ll be a spring wedding.

Whichever dress you are trying on, does it bring you joy, are you physically comfortable in it, and do you feel beautiful? That's the most important bit. If you're pulling on it, and adjusting it, and don't feel good about yourself in the dress, doesn't matter what it looks like, you'll end up hating it. As someone else said, why not wear both if you genuinely love both...one for the wedding and the next for the reception.

Wear both, white for the ceremony with a elbow length veil and blue for the reception. I can’t see you but generally ankle length makes people look a bit wider so it wouldn’t have been a style I would have chosen unless you have beautiful ankles maybe (it’s a thing haha I’m slim but my ankles are chunky and not cute).
I wouldn't get one that shows any cleavage. I think it's trashy. Sorry; just my opinion.
I don’t know but congratulations.
hope you have a wonderful marriage❤️
