What's your opinion on bachelor and bachelorette parties and would you want to have one? Why or why not?

I wouldn't object to my SO wanting to have one. I've been to a few that were fairly simple, basically just guys spending a night together at a pub. I've only been to one where it was a little more racy. Adult movies were playing on a TV and a waitress was hired that was wearing a sheer top. That was the extent of it. I've heard about some that get very wild.

Most of the ones I have heard about are very trashy. I do plan to have a bachelor party, but mine is doing to be dignified. None of that disgusting animal nonsense.

I don’t think they’re bad, I just get confused at those who treat it as “my last night being single!”…like you’re not single lol. You’re engaged.
As long as you’re respecting your partner’s boundaries then it’s fine.

When I got married we didn’t have separate parties. We had an engagement party that was more for family. And then we had a night with all our friends where we were drinking and turning up. We didn’t feel the need to have separate celebrations. We celebrated together

I'm neutral in general. In and of themselves, they can be awesome or trashy and everywhere on the spectrum in between: it depends on the people and the activities.

My my "bachelor party" my father-in-law took me and a bunch of men camping for a weekend. Nothing trashy, etc., about that.

I had a girls night out, nothing racy. A scavenger hunt was part of the evening, and hilarious! No strippers, nudity or anything of that nature. My hubby got hammered at our apartment with buddies, listening to tunes

It's a tradition that some enjoy. They can be tame or wild. It depends on the organizers. I can see why some couples don't like them.
