What do you think of bachelor and bachelorette parties?

We all know bachelor parties for guys just before marriage, and bachelorette parties for girls before marriage gets wild and in many times end up the guy or girl doing something intimate with a hooker, or someone.. may lead to sex too. and its kept as a secret from the partner, in many cases.
So what do you guys and girls think of such parties. Can u take if you know the guy/girl having sex with another just before getting married

Haha you watch too many movies. Most bachelor and bachelorette parties are nothing like that. It'sjust a group or guys or gals going out and gettin a little outta hand for a night, nothing more. I've been to plenty of bachelorette parties and never once has their been strippers or anything sexual. Sometimes there'll be like a bingo card thing of silly or embarrassing things the bride to be has to do throughout the night but it's tame stuff like get a stranger to buy you a drink, do a body shot off a guys belly, shit like that.

I've never heard of anyone I know doing anything sexual at a bachelor party either. I've even been to a couple, since I'm one of the guys in my social group, and hosted a couple at a bar I used to work at. It's usually just a bunch of guys drinking a tonne and doing silly shit. Even the ones that do end up at the strippers are just there to watch usually.

Like, I'm sure it happens, but I don't think it's the norm.

I would say that any party that involves hookers or doing anything that would be hurtful or upsetting to the person you are about to marry is stupid and inconsiderate. That being said, having a night out with your friends where this doesn't take place isn't a bad thing.

For my bachelorette party, I went to a fancy hotel and had afternoon tea, went to a movie, and then ate at a nice restaurant for dinner. It was very low key because I don't have many female friends and apparently most of my bridesmaids (they were my cousins) didn't feel like coming or had made other plans.

My husband and his friends went bowling and to a movie and out to dinner for his bachelor party and he said they had a lot of fun.

They are soooooo stupid and the people who do that are stupid too... if you have to have sex or do sexual things with someone else before your married you shouldn't be getting married at all and you have no idea what commitment and love are all about. I want a bachelorette party, but one where it's just me and my friends and we go on a girls two day trip or something and we bond, no men.. and no sex or sexual stuff going on.. thats saved for my man only lol.

Ehh, they're fine. I don't really want a wild one and I don't think that as many people have sex on a stag/hen night as you are thinking, but they sound like they can sometimes be fun with your close friends.

i think to each their own. however i think lying to a partner or keeping secrets about activities that are clearly cheating is very wrong

me personally feels like a person can have an amazing time at a bachelor party without strippers, hookers, sex, and all that... at least i know my bachelor party was one of the best weekends of my life and i didn't see a single women (in any sexual way or various stages of undress)

My bachelor party was wild. We were thrown out of three place, all of which knew us and some knew us well. My wife knew my friends and made sure to have the party a coupke of days in advance of the wedding so we wouldn't be hung over. I had bruises and cuts on my hand from broken glass.

I think you've seen to many movies. They are such parties in my country but it's not known for having cheaters.
It's just group of friends having lot of fun and that's about it.

I would not get married to him if he were to do it. First of all I wouldn't even let him have a party I don't trust any of his friends and I don't trust the hoes and I wouldn't trust him drunk. I'm not sure if I were to forgive him, because after all they decided to do party knowing the risks

It's pretty pathetic. I wouldn't accept it and would cancel the wedding immediately if they did anything dirty with someone else at one of those parties, I don't care if they claim they were drunk and that's why they did what they did.

My friends are so tame that girl told me she loves it when she goes out with us because nothing will happen and he is a bit of a player. The bachelor parties just tend to be a weekend away with a lot of beer.

I think they are trashy. People just use them as a way to cheat on their partner without getting caught. I think if you wouldn't feel comfortable doing something like having fun with a stripper in front of your partner then you shouldn't do it behind their back. If you're going to betray their trust before you've even exchanged vows then why get married in the first place.
