I’m dating someone the old school way. We met on a dating site, have waited 3 years for each other and agreed to marriage if we have chemistry on meeting in person and spending time together. If I marry, I’m wondering if I should wear a darker coloured wedding dress? I’m USA size 16-18 (European size 22). Not obese, just big boned, solid and hourglass shaped. I like delicate white dresses, but I feel that a darker colour, while less traditional, would be more slimming and flattering. My friend said I’d look like a beach ball in a white dress; and my mum advises against wearing white dresses. She says they’re for smaller women. I want to look my best.
