I got married when I was 42. My wife is 2.5 years younger. We've been happily married now for over 26 years. We've had a lot of fun and built a wonderful life together.

Not at all. I know several people who got married for the first time in their 30s. And second marriages cover the entire age range, from 20s to 90s.
