Used to spend my summers and weekends working for my father cleaning pools, cutting grass and doing yard work for very financially stable and wealthy families. The wives were always looking dick. If it wasn't me the pool boy/Gardner it was the club tennis pro or the personal trainer or some other guy. My father gave me a serious beating because I lost him a big money contract as I was caught by a husband banging with his wife as well as two of his daughters one of whom was 15 and had to get an abortion.

You cannot have a successful marriage if you are constantly worrying about money, otherwise there will be untold arguments.. You also need a healthy sex life too!

The bottom line is, if you want a successful marriage then you have to have both.

Financial stability, if you're always arguing about money and worried about being able to provide for one another then the marriage won't really last because again money will always be an issue

It's not an either or situation. What is most important is respect. Respect is earned and both people must be worthy of a higher level of respect than a random boyfriend/girlfriend would be. Otherwise you made a mistake getting married.
