To honor your marriage and to let other people know that you are taken already , I know it doesn’t stop everyone from pursuing you , but it should lol I honestly got hit on more when I wore my wedding ring over not wearing it , so it just goes to show , people really don’t give a fuck. It’s comes down to the thrill of the chase I guess

@Finchie40 To be fair your the same guy that said he almost fell for an online scam from a girl on here so I highly doubt you were ever chased by women, whether you were married or un married.

@Finchie40 You told me that you communicated with this girl long enough for her to believe she can try to scam you.

Well yea , I talk to everyone that inboxes me , I am not rude to anyone that is talking nice to me , I just know not to trust anyone that starts asking for money , especially from someone. I never met before , and that’s when I cut all ties with them and label them a scammer

@Finchie40 u literally said the scam was a "beautiful girl hitting on you" According to you she didn't start asking for money until after you guys started conversing online. I asked you if you had been conversing with her long enough for her to feel comfortable asking for money and u said yes. Men that are good with women don't entertain women for any period of time w/out getting something in return, much less on random online sites. The fact that you did tells my that you're inexperienced. If you had as many women as u claim hitting on you when you "were married" but now are single why would you have to talk to a girl on GAG anyway?

@Finchie40 It highlights your naivety. Which stems from inexprience with women.

I don’t see how that has anything to do with my experience with women lol if I gave her money than yes you could say that but No I don’t fall for shit like that , I never paid a girl to be with me , the guys’ that do pay for women are the inexperienced ones and the desperate ones

@Finchie40 Yes, I realize u don't understand that, which is the point of the statement. However if this is told to an unbiased 3rd party they will easily understand. For starters you're making the claim that unprovoked a woman reached out to you on GAG, that's going to raise a red flag to any guy w/ exprience because we understand that women don't typically approach guys, and there are 100's of post on this Very site that can attest to that. So why u? Then u claim you responded back, which makes it even odder because what are you expecting to gain from your response? Then you said that you had enough back and forth dialog with this woman that she randomly ask you for bank account info, which means that something u said made her feel comfortable enough to ask a complete stranger for their financial info. I'm not saying this didn't happen I'm saying that I find it suspicious that it would happen to a once married single man who claims to have had so many women in the past hitting on him. As a man that currently has women hitting on him, I realize none of them come in the form of anonymous DM's from random online sites, I do understand the type of messages you are receiving as I get a ton of them on FB and IG, however I realize that all of those are fake and would never respond because it's a complete waste of time. Much less carry on a private running dialog with the. In short the story doesn't add up. Either you're lying about the messages or you're lying about your experience how can both be true?

First is occurred on this site , and it started off as her asking me for advice , I give everyone advice when asked on this site, so I didn’t think much of it , it was more just a casual conversation first , then she started flirting with me and then started asking for money , that’s when I knew she was fake. So again that has nothing to do with my experience with girls’ My experience with girls’ happens in public , for me to even consider meeting a girl off the internet? She has to prove to me she is legit before I even consider moving forward with her. So your assumptions about me are completely off man.

@Finchie40 Lol, assumptions are based on information, now that you have provided more information I have a better understanding which is why I asked the questions I did. What was the advice she asked specifically so I don't have to make an assumption?

@Finchie40 There in lies the problem. On one hand u cruticize the reader for "assuming" yet when asked to provide accurate information you refuse which literally forces the reader to assume? You asked why I think this highlights your lack of experience w/ women? It's because of tactics like this. You want someone to believe your claim but only on your terms, this is a standard tactic that women use and the fact that you're attempting to do it to someone like me that no woman has ever called you on this. Of you were exprienced w/ woman this is not a tactic u would use to attemp to validate your point. Complicated I know, however because of my background it's something I've seem quite a bit of. Hope this helps.

Some people wear them as a sign of love, commitment, respect for each other. It’s a choice people have, there is no hard and fast rule.

It is a symbol of your love. When you exchange rings it is suppose to be a promise. It also shows other women that he is married.

A reminder to those around them that he's off the market.

And a symbolic manifestation of their emotional union.
