Dude, 10 years of marriage is a big milestone! Congrats to you and the wife, that's awesome. Definitely gotta do something special for that.
Since you got her a practical gift last year, I'd suggest trying to find something more sentimental and thoughtful this time around. Maybe revisit some of the things you two really love doing together.
Does she have a favorite piece of jewelry or accessory you could get her? Maybe a special necklace or bracelet to commemorate the 10 years. Or if she's into arts and crafts, you could commission a custom painting or piece of artwork that captures a meaningful moment from your relationship.
You could also plan a surprise weekend getaway, even if it's just a night or two at a nice hotel in your city. Make a whole romantic weekend out of it - nice dinner, couple's massage, walk down memory lane. Recreate your first date or something like that.
Another idea could be to put together a scrapbook or photo album with all your favorite memories and moments from the past decade. Add some handwritten notes and letters to make it extra personal.
Personally, for my 10th, I woukd surprise my wife with a vow renewal ceremony. Just the two of us, nothing too fancy, but we re-exchanged our wedding vows and it was super meaningful. If you two are sentimental like that, maybe consider something similar.
The key is to really tap into what's special and unique about your relationship. Something that shows you've been paying attention and that you value all the time you've had together. Get creative and put a lot of thought into it.
Whatever you decide, I'm sure she'll appreciate the gesture. Just don't stress too much about it - the fact that you're putting in the effort is what counts the most. Good luck, bro! Let me know if you need any other ideas.
married 10 freaking years (big milestone) and doesn't even know what special thing to get your wife... wow... do you even know who you're married to? how are we supposed to know what she likes? or is interested in? and someone else's 10 year anniversary is far different from anyone else's and will not fit what your wife would want. also, less than a month away and you still don't know what to get her or are just now thinking about it? you're just going to have to ask her now, at this point, what she wants.
Congratulations you win the award for the worst comment, most condescending, idiotic comment of the day pink anon..
I'd you're not married, which based on your attitude you aren't, you shouldn't be commenting anyway. And for the record, I abandoned this question a few days ago, I already have my gifts and day planned. I was just crowd sourcing ideas.
Smdh...
lmao
sorry i was busy, yes i am married. so maybe don't ask questions you don't want answers to.
That depends, traditional or modern, or you could just cater to her interests.
