If I had to choose one out of the two it would be the first one.

I'm gonna say neither. Both are too gaudy. I'm a great fan of simple elegance.

And then there's the whole De Beers, diamond cartel artificially inflating the price of tiny rocks with a merciless marketing campaign that goes on forever.

I would say the 2nd ring. It's not too bling-y and it doesn't scream "Show-off"
