For a garden wedding, should I wear a formal tulle gown or a casual white maxi dress?

I’d like to be married in a garden if I meet the right man and I have two best party dresses; and feel no need in future to waste money shopping for more.

Should I wear my floor length blue tulle dress which is a formal dress, or my smart casual, white, Broderie anglaise maxi dress? Both are beautiful, but are garden or botanical garden outfits more casual?

I would suggest the more casual dress, but it's up to you. Wear what you want.
