The best gift i have ever recived was a birthday gift from my son he was 5 years old my mother in law called me up and asked if she could bring him over he had something for me,, yes yes yes bring him over , dhe did and then left ,, he told me to sit down , that he had something for me , so we did, he handed me a brown paper bag ,, i opened it look in to the bag it was about 12 or so Rocks , he smiled and said dump them out dad. ,, I said no let's go through each one ,, because he had told me they were special rocks. Each Rock I pulled out he had a story for it and why it was special,, about the 8th Rock I pulled out was kinda heavy as I open my hand I said where did you get this Rock he said by his grandmas house he told me why it was special I said yes and then I said do you know WHAT ELSE IT IS ,,, He said what I said it was a GOLD NUGGET We went in to my room and got my coin scale. It weight 1 1/2 ounces. It was so cool a few hours later I was taking him back to my mother in-laws I had to go to work. We looked every where that he might had found it but no luck finding any more I gave it to his grand mother to hold on to for when he got older I need to remind him of that but any way yes that was the best gift ever

I remember one Christmas when I was very young, maybe 6 or 7, my father got me a bicycle. He was never one for having any level of mechanical aptitude and even just assembling the thing was a mental and physical struggle for him. I remember a lot of clanging and shouting coming from the garage the night before. It gave me freedom. When I was a little older, my grandfather gave me his car. That was also another level of freedom. It wasn't the most impressive car but it was extremely reliable and I put that thing through the wringer. Unfortunately, one night someone tried to steal it. They tried to hot-wire it unsuccessfully and they fucked up the electrics. It wasn't worth the money to get it fixed so I had to get rid of it.

But the best gift I ever got was the gift of life. I don't think people realise just how unlikely their birth was. We're all a little piece of the universe experiencing its wonder.

Then it was a sega genesis

Then it was an n64 with star wars racer

I think the next one was an xbox 360 🤔

Then I got my ps4

As a final present from my dad.

I think video games while not sentimental were strong moments of excitement and fun :)

My bass guitar I got for Christmas when I was 7 or so. I didn't have an interest in playing music then but having that bass gave me the option down the road. Now it's my best hobby =^)

a very long time ago, a close friend asked me to be her first. i declined at first, saying that it should be someone that she trusted and she knew would not tell anyone and be gentle. she said you just answered all those questions. she said she knew we would never marry, but she wanted a bond that neither would forget. she is gone now and though i have told about the gift , you don't know me or her.
