I mean, sure, you could build the suit with the ring, but you'd have to know what particles and in what way they are arranged to do so, which would defeat the purpose.
Magic is magic, the end is the means, and as far as you can take it. Science so advanced that it's indistinguishable from magic on the other hand... something as advanced as a nanotech suit that's basically a more awesome Crysis suit is tech a step away from being able to produce Von Neumann machines, it already can interact with biological matter, so that would make the idea of immortality, harnessing more energy, basically being anything and everything you want within reach. The ring would be good for that too, you know, if the more that you come to rely on it the more you wouldn't have to worry about gaining or losing weight and thus the ring.14 Reply- +1 y
Yeah true, but I think with all 3 of them you really don't need to think too hard to escape an explosion. Me personally I think the Omnitrix has the most potential, right behind it is the Lantern Ring, but like you mentioned with the ring you would have to understand somethin to be able to affect it.. I would probably choose the Omnitrix, especially the later versions.

I guess one thing I'm not thinking about is the learning curve. A huge part of learning and "understanding" that's so damned complicated with most far out there ideas in science is learning the instruments and tools to even measure what you're looking at. If you have something that intuitively, precisely and accurately reproduces what you want, then not just making, but how you learn, and how fast you're able to would change as well, bah, I feel silly for not thinking of that.

I see. Well you could learn how to manager any one of these devices once you choose whichever one will protect you from the explosion because they are all automatic protection. I guess for you it's whichever ones mechanics you feel you could best understand. But they all protect you.

Only three things to worry about in an explosion 1. overpressure, if you can't protect from the shift in pressure, you just have ruptures, hemorrhagic shock, then death. 2. shrapnel, I mean, is it a HEAT explosion, purely energetic, purely copper penetrator, purely antipersonnel? the mitigation there would make a difference. 3. heat, even if you survive the first 2, it doesn't matter too much if you can't insulate, or radiate heat away and cook inside your armor.
Like you said though, it really doesn't matter which you pick, if all three came out of the explosion, then none of them are capable of being destroyed by it, so that leaves just worries about overpressure and heat management.
