I bought furniture and the woman told me the delivery was free?

I purchased a bed from Ashley furniture. She told me the delivery was free but if the delivery is free do they assemble my bed as well or do i have to take it in the house and put it together myself

Free Delivery it might be however the odds are the delivery people are only there to deliver & if you wanted your stuff put together you should of set that up with sales.

Ashley is a traditional furniture store. They will deliver, put it in the room you want and assemble it for you. If any store doesn't do that without charging extra then just don't buy from them. To double check, just call the Ashley sales rep you worked with and ask them.

It is my understanding that delivery, means carrying it upstairs (if need be) to your room, but then you will have to assemble it.

Is it a frame with wooden slats?

They just deliver it, I think you can pay extra to have them set it up. Im not sure on their policies.

I bet you will have to put it together yourself. I cannot imagine it takes a lot of skill to put a bed frame together. Mybe find a you tube video that shows how to do it.

I would think if the price is pretty steep for the bed they should have free delivery and free set up but I would be asking them.
