What is the most expensive gift you have received?

I'm not bragging but... my most expensive gift was from a few summers ago and it was a trip to Europe in a private plane.

My dad bought me a car at 18, cause I got 100 % scholarship for 4 years in the best university of my country. I loved it.

My boyfriend also bought me very expensive gifts and trips when we lived together. We are long distance now sadly, without our choice.

The reason those gifts mattered to me so much, were not the price of them - instead it was the fact that my boyfriend wasn’t rich at all and he tried his best to make me happy.

Everything he had - he wanted for me.

That was sweet and impossible not to appreciate.

After I got my IFR and twin certifications my husband bought me a Barron 55 we had to spend a few 10s of thousands of dollars modernizing its avionics. So I guess it is my single most expensive material gift at I would guess off the top of my head 78k for it and 30k modernizing it with better avionics and interior and then annuals and maintenance on two engines can be quite expensive.

I've never really asked for prices so I'm not sure,
But i have a group of 2 besties. One moved away at the time.
He flew up to NY from GA to visit. They took me to the next city over, took me shopping, amusement park, and just made everything an amazing experience.
