My wife has a friend who's dog had puppies and my wife fell in love with one of them, so I bought one. Her stupid friend wouldn't even give me a deal! It pissed me off. I'm not gonna even say how much I paid because I'm fucking ashamed of myself for spending that much on a dog that bites me!

About 30 years ago, I bought my wife a new PC for Christmas. It was a 486DX2 66 with a color monitor which, at that time, was a huge big deal. I spent about $3,000 for the system.

I bought my dad a grill. He would always buy cheap ones that never lasted more than a few years, so I bought him a Weber. It was close to $1500 but he loves grilling out, so I wanted to get him something nice.

I brought 2 AR-15 rifle build kits for my brother and his wife. They are missing the lower reciever which is considered the firearm in the US. But it comes with a complete upper and all the parts that goes into the lower. My brother had to buy the lowers himself and then I helped him build them.
